Wanted to Buy: Starter Eyepieces

Here I am as a newbie with my first scope Skywatcher 6" MAK on a HEQ5 - Pro and a set of Polar alignment instructions asking me to use an illuminated reticle in the diagonal to drift align.
Why are they not supplies with first scopes? Particularly in Southern Hemisphere?

Opening Ice in Space I see Roobi's ad for EP's so place my own.

Have a 9mm & 25mm that came with the scope.
What size illuminated reticle?

So I ask for any ideas and basic EP's you may have spare to sell.
I look forward to your replies.

PS I was the one who opened a box with new scope and released the past 2 weeks of clouds that were used as packing around the scope. Nobody told me they would be there. Sorry.

Ian and welcome to the site. Does your HEQ5 come with a polar finderscope in the RA axis? If so that would be enough to polar align for visual work. If you are thinking photography then yes you may need a reticule (I use them all the time). Either the 9 or the 12mm will be fine.

The polar finder has the NCP map not SCP map

And cloudy skies have added to the frustration of a newbie learning the stars.

Thanks for the sizes.

NH polarscope. That makes it awkward.

I know this is off topic, but if you want to get ideas and information and demonstrations you might want to consider coming up to the Cambroon dark sky night. Advertised here monthly
