Hand signing prints

I can't seem to find the right category to post this....

What kind of pen is best for signing prints on traditional photographic paper?

Cheers,

Baz.

Experiment with those "Sharpie" pens Barry. Theyre indelible, and shouldn't bleed too much.

Laundry Marker or other "oil-based" felt pen is preffered by artists who do lots of signing.
I have no idea how or why I know this.
As always. See below.

For light coloured background use a Sharpie Fine point and for dark background use a Silver liquid permanent marker with a fine point.
Only way to go.

I bought some photo gel pens, they work well and don't bleed, they just take a few seconds to dry (like all pens)
I got a 3 pack of gold, silver and bronze.

Rob McNaught was using those to sign his posters at Astrofest. I found that they smudged quite easily.
