4" refractor
G'day all,
looking for a 4" long focal length refractor for grab n go planetary viewing, preferably Japanese or American-built units like Meades 102 achro series, Celestron C102's, Vixen etc
Considering achros as I don't have much to spend, but should have reasonable colour correction and usable at high mags (~200x or more). However, I'm planning to sell off a couple of my scopes, so an old ED might be within my range.
May consider 5" models if they perform well are stable on the EQ5 and within my price range.
Also should include dovetail for EQ5 mount, although even if it doesnt I'll consider it. I'm willing to pick up from or around Melbourne.
