Sbig ST2000xm + CFW9

This is the last of my gear to go.
  • SBIG ST2000XM CCD
  • CFW9
  • Astronomik Narrowband filters - Ha, OIII, SII
Same condition as the rest of my setup.. barely used, as is from manufacturer.

Price: $3000 + postage.

Happy to deliver SE QLD area for a carton of beer.

Cheers,
Andrew

I've had a few PM's with questions, which I'll answer here.. probably should've been included in the first post.

I purchased the CCD new from ATS in Oct. 2007. - Just like my FSQ and NEQ6, it's seen very limited field work in that time.
It includes a RGH port.
Includes the 2" nose + all the software cd's + cables + power etc - everything is included as comes standard, including the rack handles + pelican case.
I also still have the filter cases.

No issues regarding the camera, however I must point out, there is piece of dust or something on the underside of the CCD window that was there from the manufacture - I've tried cleaning it off, but it wont budge - QA dept. must've had the day off that day. Luckily it's in a corner and doesn't cause any dramas - can be dealt with when calibrating frames also.

I'll whip up some photo's tomorrow.

Cheers,
Andrew

Ok, here's a photo of everything.

I've had a few more PM's re: the dust. It's not on the sensor, but on the inside of the cover plate window. It doesn't degrade the camera at all, is located in a corner and is easily removed with image calibration, but I felt it best to point it out upfront so the eventual buyer isn't disappointed once they have it in their hands.

Cheers,
Andrew

Andrew

If you consider the request from bluescope, and breakup the package, let me know - I would be interested in the filters.

I'm happy to split the filters but would rather keep the CCD+CFW together, unless a buyer wants the CCD on it's own.

Yeh, I understand your dilema. Sorry I can't help - I would like the CCD, but don't have the cash.

We'll see how it goes. Let me know.

No worries Darrell.

If any one is seriously interested in the ST2000, I can email a frame which shows the 'dust bunny' in the far top corner of a 10min Ha image. I'm sure SBIG could send out a new cover plate if you'd prefer perfect condition.. either way.. this is a nice piece of kit at a great price!

Open to serious offers of high $2k's - this is the last of my gear to go (already sold my FSQ-106ED + HEQ6-Pro).

Cheers,
Andrew
