Intelliscopes Bargin of the year?

Hi guys,
A while ago I made a decision to save for a 8 or 10 in dob, which I would the add manual setting circles to use with a 2nd hand palm+astro software as an DSO locater. You know, the cheap home made version of Argo Navis(great system but not for battlers).
But now sirius optics has Orion Intelliscopes at almost 1/2 price!
6 in $599 (was over $900)
8 in $779 (was over $1400)
I'm thinking buying one of these might be the best option.
I'm very tempted to spill my credit card No over the phone this week!!!

Has anyone used an Intelliscope or have an opinion on this issue?

Whilst I haven't used an intelliscope (I have an Argo Navis) many have praised the Orion XTi scopes and the intelliscope system is supposed to work really well. At those prices they are almost the same price as the GSO dob's. I'd definitely go for the 8" though, definitely worth the extra money over the 6".
