Time for a repro! I think there's a little bit too much sharpening. Might want to tone that down a touch.

Thanks H, I think I somestimes get too absorbed into processing the image that I need to walk away for a while then come back have another look with fresh eyes.

Good detail Dan nice colours tight stars minimal noise apparent but as H said maybe a tad to much sharpening.

I suppose you used the ED80 to capture this what did you use to produce the star spikes

But as has been said before, too much sharpening.

Thanks Trevor, For the diffraction spikes I made a jig from 4mm MDF sheet acurately marked and drilled 4 holes at 90deg and used thin fishing line.

Thanks Mill, only a couple of days now for Snake Valley. Looking forward to catching up.
