Judge Joe Brown Knows His Photography

Dodgy wedding photographer trying to pull the wool over his eyes. Classic. She's supposedly shot hundreds of weddings, but doesn't know what speed her lenses are, uses Canon Rebels (like 400D), 18-55 and 70-300 kit lenses, doesn't seem to know apertures or shutter speeds...

Interesting.

Obviously sensationalized for TV.

I agree on most but not all the Judge's points.

What professional would go on TV, risking having their reputation ruined as this person would have That in its self seems unprofessional. I guess they might have expected to win and so look good

That courtroom's more like a Ricky Lake show.

Oh, no doubt there's some sensationalism there. He may not be an expert, but he certainly knew enough to ask some pertinent questions that put her on the spot and showed she clearly wasn't a professional. He understood the lighting requirements, shutter speeds, apertures, and was right onto her gear not being professional.

When I use to do wedding photography I certainly didn't use 35mm, it was all done using medium format cameras in 6x4 format. Its all gone down hill with digital.
