The Giant Dragons of Palm Tree Island !!

We were at Somersby Falls the other day, and I went to snap a pic of a fern growing out of a mossy rock. I hadn't set the macro focus on the camera phone, and as I drew back to make the adjustment, I noticed a fire dragon sitting on the back edge of the rock.

So, with some lateral motion, I was able to snap this one, along with a few others ... reminds me of the old 60's Journey to the Center of the Earth - type movies.

"Oh darling, what an idyllic island. We can make our home under those palms at the base of the mountain..."

I think the writers of LOST made a mistake introducing Polar Bears, and not dinosaurs ...
