Cometary Globule 1

A near neighbor to the more famous CG4, CG1 is overlooked. I could not
find any color images of it with a basic internet search. Pretty
pastels paint the region.

Hi Tom,

She's a beauty allright. Love this stuff, might even get around to taking some myself one day.

If I might make one small suggestion, it looks a little green to me. Could be that I've been staring at this monitor for several hours now, but it looks just a tad green?

Cheers
Stuart

This is a really beautiful image Tom...

Plenty of dust to see and the cometary remnants are just something special
indeed!

These hi res wide fields you take are just magic!

Thanks for sharing
Rich

As usual an extremely beautiful image Tom. I did't even known about their existance, Vela seems to be a gold mine for peculiar objects

Clear skies
