BHS Earth Hour 2010

The latest from the ANU Black Hole Society:

*********************************** *********************************** ***************
Hello everyone!

To celebrate Earth Hour, and to take advantage of the reduced lighting around Canberra, the BHS is hosting a public observing night from 7pm onwards on the 27 March at Fellows Oval.

Weather permitting, telescopes will be setup on the oval for anyone interested in observing the night sky. The Moon, planets Mars and Saturn, as well as numerous star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies will be within our reach.

This is a public event, you don't have to be a member to come along, so Bring friends and families to share that precious part of the environment, the night sky, with us. We hope to see you there.

I hope some of you can make it.

Cheers,
Silvie
