Sun in Ha and White Light, 17.2.10

After several days of terrible weather, the sun made an appearance around 10.30am today in superb seeing conditions. This is the first of 30 avi captures, a full disk with ARs and proms through a Takahashi Sky90 with Coronado Solarmax 90 filter:

Very nice set of images Malcolm,

The level of activity seems to be coming more widespread, it seems the new solar cycle has truly begun.

Regards
Trevor

PS: Very nice shot of the proms.

Beautiful images Malcolm, I really like the last one.

The first one seemed really bright and made me see double

A terrific series of images Malcolm, glad to see you guys getting some better weather and good seeing. The x3 zoom in from the Tak 90 really holds up well, a cracker of an image.

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks all. Here’s a late process of the big prom from yesterday:

The weather here is back to it’s old tricks, sun buried behind a mile of clouds today.
