Incomplete Star Trails

First experiment with star trails taken last night, work in progress just wanted to see how it went using "Startrails"
12 x 10min subs @ ISO100, Can450D, Tamron 18-270 @ 18mm / f3.5
No darks....combo was then tweaked a bit in the Gimp
Smudges in the middle are clouds. You can see the dreaded sky glow coming from Sydney Airport
Next time more subs and centred properly

I think that star trails are the one aspect of astrophotography where the use of film still reigns.
