Refractors

Hi everyone. I would like some advise on refractors. I want to purchase a refractor for astrophotography. I already have a good mount and a QHY8. I dont want an expensive one as I only want one to learn with it before I move onto longer focal length cassegrains. I want to spend between $500 and a $1000. I would also like something with a reasonable resale value. Thanks.
