Deep Sky Stacker Info

To those who kindly replied to my previous sub re DSLR processing. I had DSS 3.2.1 on the computer this passed year and thinking I should check for an updated version found the down load on the web and after down loading found it's number is 3. and I cannot see any difference between the two. Which is the updated version and is there any change from the above two versions? Your reply would be appreciated.
Clear sky is a problem for coastal locations so I'm no orphan waiting for a new ridge of high pressure to clear the clouds. Some times! I managed to see the moon just for breaf moments between clouds and took a number of 5 stills for each view with the moon very close to full. these were stacked in DSS with acceptable results. in my opinion!

FYI, DSS is not designed for moon/planetary work.
