received new counterweight

The new counterweight from Mick arrived this morning. I've put up a page about it on my website here:

http://www.acquerra.com.au/personal/...counterweight/

Mick, if you want me to add any extra contact details just let me know. It looks and feels superb, and is a nice fit.

regards, Bird

They looks great Bird...I have ordered 2 x 9kg weight off Mick...

The losmandy weights are very low quality....compared to the rest of the mount their a dissapointment....

Mick is sending me my 2 over the next week....I hope.

I like shiny things.

Yes weights are weights but when you have a nicely finished piece of equipment like the G11 you would like to keep it that way.

doesn't matter what you use ving, as long as it balances. See http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/a...achmentid=3047

If you want the truth....yes it does David.....Paul will probably be ordering 1 of these new weights in no time.....but then again he may not need to as his 8" OTA wont need more weight.

The G11 comes with a gorgeous 1.25" Inch solid stainless steel counter weight shaft...did I say gorgeous...I meant Beautiful.

The thing is like Bird said you only get 1 weight with the G11 which isn't enough to carry even a 20Kg OTA...so you need more weights anyway so why not get something with style.

And did I mention there shinny.....lol

When I spend $5000 on a piece of equipment I dont want to spoil it with a rusty weight...my opinion....as you can see some dont care....personal preference.

Mick you have a nice practical part there so keep them coming.
