Onya everyone, some nice yummy food pictures.

Les, that is revolting.

Reminds me of when I was backpacking throughout Europe. I met up with an Australian and Canadian girl and we travelled to Bruges. They have a weekly fresh food and produce market/fair in the central square. Whilst I was walking around looking for cheese, bread and fruit (oh, boy, the fruit there is amazing -- the most amazing strawberries I've ever had!) the girls went to this delicatessan and were buying an assortment of meats for a picnic. They wanted to purchase this square-ish shaped meat but it didn't have any recognisable sign as to what it might have been. They gestured in a shrugging fashion whilst pointing at the meat and looking at the shopkeeper. He put on a charming smile and then started neighing like a horse!

We all cracked up in laughter!

Ah, good times.

Liz,

Delicious! Whilst in Rome, I was lucky enough to make it to Pizzeria du Buffeto. Look them up on the web; purported to be the finest pizza in Italy! It was incredible. I will definitely be going back there if I make it back to Europe one day.

Congratulations RB on your win this month.
You get to pick our topic this month.

Also well done to Anne-Louise (earthlight) and Warren (Supernova1965) for their second place results and to all the entrants, it was an exciting race and certainly looked like even 5 votes weren't enough to pick all your favourites.

Good to see such a big number of entries again, let's keep it up !!

Thanks everyone !
Glad you liked the photo.

Congrats to Anne Louise and Warren too, it was an exciting race.

Well, I had a bit of a think about the topic and have decided on:

"Things that fly"

So lets see your shots, could be natural, could be man made but lets see your shot of something that flies.
