Did Anybody Notice

Did anybody notice the advert for the 16" f4.8 GS Dob was in the latest Andrews add page in December AS&T for $2.499, I know that there was a great discussion on this subject but the concensus was that Andrews had jumped the gun, I also note that there is no mention for a Meade version in the BinTel add.
We can now look forward to aglut of 12" second handscopes on the market., astroron

Yeh, looking forward to the second hand 12" market getting flooded. Great way to upgrade

On my pocket money the 16" is well out of my range

The prices for the Meade scopes are on the bintel website (shop). I'm sure I saw them there last night. Lightbridge? or something like that.

I will need a bigger car for the 16" and will need to cut down those pesky tree's in my courtyard and also get some wheels for the dob. Nah the wifey will never go for it....anyway that's a pretty decent price for a 16".
