Mars 30-1-10

hi all, this is my first attempt at Mars this year and it isn't a Trevor B. standard image; Sorry.

After processing this image, only added to my appreciation of all the top images that Trevor has produced over the past months.

I had calm conditions without any jetstream, but still Mars was a tad blurry.

Some nice detail in there. I had a look at Mars last night and it was very close to the moon so not much to see.

Hi Lester,

I think this is a good effort for your first attempt with the DMK. I recall your most excellent images of Jupiter that John Rogers saw fit to include in his B.A.A reports. You are a skilled imager and I am sure you will prove just as proficient with Mars as you have been with Jupiter.

Thanks for posting this image, I think it is all about getting out there and using your equipment on the good nights and not so good nights, don't be sorry about the standard of this image, you have nothing to prove. I look forward to following your progression with the DMK.

Regards
Trevor
