I'm off sushi for a bit... Mars 19th Nov

Hi All, I've given up on raw mode with the neximage till I get a reflector back - plenty of information in there no doubt, but it's getting sprayed about so much by chromatic aberration with the achromatic refractor I'm using it's hard to get at it. Might give it a try again when the Mewlon returns , but for now it's just nice to be able to run at 10fps again!

The image below is standard mode neximage with 900 frames stacked from 2 x 2.5 minute avis back to back (~3000 frames). No resampling, just the 3x barlow and extension tube.

cheers,

that is better, but are you able post just the stacked result without any wavelets???

there still seems to be fringing.

I also see a problem, mars is high in the sky for you. 32 degrees above the horizon and below is where the best imaging is done!!!!

60 degrees, i am so jealous!!!!

No Bad Robert, but I agree it is a little soft. You could be right about the aberration. Bet you can't wait for the Mewlon to come back. At least Mars is high enough there for you. Keep em coming.
