In search of clear sky north of Sydney

Hi Everyone
I am looking for clear, unpolluted location for sky gazing. It has to be no more than 1 hour drive from F3 exit in Wahroonga.
Does anyone know of such place, if yes - is there accommodation available there as well?

There's no accomodation at THAT site, but it's only about 50 minutes from Wahroonga and there's probably some other accomodation close by.

Mike, would have loved to come except it is my wife's birthday today, besides - need to organise trips like this in advance as I have 3 young kids...

Are you able to provide a more specific location in Kulnura where you guys usually meet?
