yep sure mate.
Im using 1.7.45 ... the previous version had a bug where the star locations were reversed in the graphic East and West so make sure you have the latest.
The time you enter needs to be spot on.... I have had sucess in setup in 10 -15 mins. I think its great and simple! ....which is good for me as Im still a newbie learning.
Due to my location much of the "Best" star combinations are not visibile due to line of sight probs however the "Better" category seems to work well too. You connect via Ascom and I use a game controller
hope it helps cheers

First screen is about setting your location. You can either manually enter it or it can read from a GPS.

Next screen gives a list of star pairs. Just pick 2 stars you know pretty well and click next.

Click "goto" to get the mount to slew to where it thinks the first star is. Wait for the slew to stop.

Look through your finder and manually centre the star with your gamepad or hand controller. Click next.

Repeat for the second star.

Alignmaster now calculates how much you had to adjust for each star, and from that calculates what you need to adjust your mount's alt and az screws to align.

It will stay at the second star and slightly slew off it. You then adjust your az screws until the star is centred. Repeat for alt.

It will then ask if you want to repeat the process. I usually repeat 3 times to refine the alignment.

Hey Duncan,

How's things, havent seen you in a on in while, havent been on all that much either though so,,,''

I use algnmaster when I can, but you need to get you mount to with in 10 deg of SCP for it to work.

I have the same problem with line of site for most stars in the list so it's only good or remote sites for me.

Sandy
