hi there

if u use ebay there i a german site called seben who sell telescope stuff at reasonably good prices.

I bought their achromatic barlow (2x;1.25) which appears pretty good and including postagei am sure was less than $Au40, I also bough their zoom eyepiece (incl postage <$90) that is identical to big brands sold out here for over 3x the price.

the site is also available off ebay seben.com but i think it is cheaper and safer to go the ebay way, just type in seben in the search window

Andrews Communications here in Oz has the GSO 2X barlow for $29. Add $10 express post to anywhere in Oz. The Barlow section is a little past half way down this page:

http://andrewscom.com.au/site-conten...-guansheng.htm

And here is the scope's home page of Andrews, as the GSO page doesn't have a 'home' link:

http://andrewscom.com.au/site-section-10.htm

All barlows are achromatic, unless they expressly state 'Apochromatic' which is uses superior lens materials and lens arrangement.

This GSO barlow is very good. Would not be surprised if the Seben one comes from the same place.

have bought a williams optic nose tube and lens (1.6x OCA) for my binoviewers (trouble coming to focus with the schmidt newtonian) from Andrews today. Good service gets a tick
