My first Venus pic

Had a quick go at Venus tonight ED80 prime focus with the 350D, not the best, but i'm happy with it, hopefully it can only improve

better than anythingi have produced!!! well done

i find it really hard to get this one!!!

might have to wait for a morning shot when air is less mucky!

Good Trevor, very good.

Did you try using mirror lockup on the 350D. It looks like you got a bit of shutter release shake.
If you didn't then I would suggest you try it. It's indespensible and a great feature on your camera.

Thanks Andrew, IForgot to use the mirror lock up , i must make a list of things to do and have it on hand to check off before i get into imaging.

The clouds look like they are here to stay for the night, so i will have to wait for another attempt.
