It is time for a new season of observing.
When and where shall we meet?

Hey Glen,

Another year of astronomy... looking forward to hooking up for some get
togethers. Still wouldn't mind a get together out Tenterfield way. I think
I have managed to con the ex into allowing me kid free new moons
as that was a real spanner in the works for me last year... at least while
Hayden in so young. He had his first look at Saturn last weekend.

Been looking at galaxy clusters and nebula myself lately. And making an
all weather cover for the scope. And buying more gear, that 2" astronomik
UHC filter selling in the trade section is very tempting, $155.00 is very
cheap.

Cheers

Looking like it might be good tonight. Hopefully the windy bits will die with
the day. Even the jet stream is singing our tune with one off to the north
and another off to the south.

regards,CS

Hey guys, I live in Brunswick Heads, where do you guys get together?

I sold my 5" reflector, looking at getting a tracking mount soon just to use with my camera lens (have had some success on fixed tripod with them picking up carina, would love to be able to do exposures much longer ).

The weather outlook for the Northern Rivers for the next few days isn't looking too promising.

Yes, for a few days there the weather and viewing were great. That was obviously our quota and the unstable crappy weather is back.

Oh, welcome to the Northern Rivers group Dan, pardon my ignorance
in not saying Hi earlier.
