Any Cairns people??

Have been contacted by a guy from Cairns wanting someone to give an Astronomy talk at Port Douglas, and to show some sights through the scope.
It is a paid job
Its a bit too far for us Townsvillians, though have asked a few .... prob 5 hrs to Port Douglas. Much easier for a Cairns local to do it.
Also, most of us Townsvillians are scardycats at giving talks, am sure Cairns people are much more confident and capable
They really need someone, so please have a think about it.

I still havent any takers ... odds on the weather at that time will be wet anyway.

Hmmm well I just happened to email the local guy who runs the astro group here this afternoon. Havent heard back from him but I bet he would know someone suitable. Or maybe the people who own the telescope shop in town, Sun Coast Optical......I'll pm you their details
