Old Celestron 8 mount

We were given an old c8 complete with a motorised mount (RA only)
We only need the OT so the mount and forks are free to anyone who can use them.
You arrange pick up Qld sunshine coast.
More pics if needed.

Cheers Adrian & Lainie

Eric,
If you get this I'm happy to slip up the road & grab it for you & store it until you sort out what you want to do with it.

The wedge is integrated into the frame Allan - it can't be separated.

I'm just finalising shipping costs for the base and forks. I have been asking about the wedge as well. I'm fairly certain it can be removed from the tripod mount, Chris? Three bolts would hold it on.

Many thanks guys.

Sorry you are left holding the tripod. But, have fun with it. One review I read suggested that setting it up and taking it down was like wrestling an octopus! Mine is exactly like that - well like I would imagine it to be!

Wow - you are correct Eric! Mine looked as though it were a single molding, but on further investigation it was just that the paint was continuous across the seams. The side plates do indeed separate from the base.
