AR 1039 - I got a break in the clouds today!

Hi all

I have been waiting for a break in the clouds for the past 3 days to capture this region - scope out, back in, out again, rain, back in etc.
Today there was a 2 hour window of blueness!
AR 1039 taken through Solarmax40, 2.5 Powermate, DMK31, stacked and processed in Registax5 - usual inverted image too.
So far this year the Sun has been active for 100% of the time!

Wow thats a monster Matt. Super detail in the inv image. We're having one of the coldest winters on record here so solar imaging at a minimum - due to be -12deg here tonight! Will have to get out the PST-B90 to get this one though.

Thanks Matt - you're a champ for braving the fickle Brisbane weather, finding a clear patch and setting up bringing us these beauties!

Cheers
