First light sbig st 8300 m

New to ccd astronomy. Was using a canon 20da.
This is the first light with my sbig camera. The manufacturer has not yet put the color wheel into production.

M33: 10 minutes of 50 second subs. Lights, dark and bias frams. Calibrated flats also.

Hi Richard. Welcome to IIS!

I'm guessing that's M33? Thanks for showing - there are plenty of us that will be interested to hear more about your milestones changing from DSLR to KAF8300.

Welcome to IIS Richard!

Good to see the ST8300's are getting out there.. I'm expecting mine any day now..

Im wondering why such short exposures, and so few of them? With a camera like this and your setup as it stands I would think an hour worth of 10 minute exposures would have been a better choice... Obviously, if you were shooting through clouds, thats another story! I think my first light will be a way off yet.. Nothing but clouds around here for the past month.
