As Kev in Broken Hill has acted as an early warning system for us on the
East Coast with regards dust storms, I am expecting any moment he will
report for us to break out the umbrellas and canoes!

Hi Julian,

Merry Christmas!

Though the video that was posted is indeed a couple of years old, the remnants
of TC Laurence have been making its way across the interior of Australia
and the television news last night showed spectacular images of water cascading
down The Rock.

The Bureau of Meteorology has put out a flood watch for much of central and northern NSW
and the State Government has urged farmers in the north-west, central
north and central west to move livestock to higher ground.

It was advised that travelers heading to some of these areas should consider
delaying their trips.

Rain is expected to hit Sydney late afternoon on Boxing Day.

Undoubtedly correlated to all the astronomy toys that were delivered on Christmas morning.
