I think something got in the water

I saw this flower I wouldn't have a clue what it is but I think someone has been doing experiments with cross breeding plants and insects, fish or maybe some Uranium got into the water supply.

Wow, Warren, I haven't got a clue what it is but it looks really interesting. Could you take some photos of the whole plant? I'd love to find out what it is.

In Oz water tastes good and looks good. No Uranium there. Probably insects eggs or something eating the growth.

It was regular over all the flowers also some had big black seeds type things I had another look and they all had the eye thingies but they were in different places so your theory could be true

Ok, I didn't recognise it with the center part unripe and red like that and not on the plant. Its called the Mickey Mouse plant and unfortunately its a bit of an environmental weed. Proper name is Ochna serrulata. It can be a very attractive shrub when grown well. Its a shame birds like its fruit so much though.
