Nice way to see in the new year, .

I saw my first partial lunar eclipse about 14 years ago, this to be my second. Seen three total lunar eclipses though.

i drive up the road a ways elevation 200+ metres and look down on some distant mountains and the moon sets in between them this will be the 3rd time on partial that ive been there its really spectactular to see i think we are only going to see a little bit this time before it sets and the sun rises but ill still drive up and have a look

I stayed up for this.. I thought it wasn't going to be visible to the naked eye, but I was wrong.
