Theres so much detail around this object isnt there Trevor and you've managed to capture a lot of it. The core details look good and not burnt out and the stars are nice and sharp.
For noise the program noise ninja is very good. A surface blur in PS2 can also help.
Hi Trevor,
just curious....last night a little bit hazy (still from the smoke down south) and a little windy.
How did you manage to get such sharp pics?
Beautiful shot anyways!!!!!
bartman
ps mayby the smoke haze made it more orange?
Thanks Bart smoke haze was still around so probably attributes to some of the bad data in there but because Orion is so bright collecting data on this one isn't that hard even when conditions are not that good
The EQ6 mount is a great mount and solidly built so a little easterly wind doesn't phase it
Thanks Paul I agree the first was a rush job and overstrectched actually I was planning too get some 10 minute subs but the easterly got stronger and annoying so I packed up about 11:30pm
will try and capture those too add latter but might have difficulty getting the exact line up again but no rush
