IC 2498 Lambda Centurai Nebula

Good afternoon all,

went out for a little deep sky work this weekend, the new setup im working with proved to be unbeatable! wind gusts where upto 40km/h and a stiff breeze all night, overnight temperature got to 13 degrees. I lost 3 images not due to wind but phd stopping guiding in dec.? dunno what happend but it did

ED 80,
9 * 50 Finderscope adapted to use as a guider
Eq6 Pro
DSI2
40 d modded

14 * 10 min Iso 800 CR2 raw
5 * 10 min Iso 800 darks subtracted

Comments indeed welcome good bad or ugly

The only thing i personally don't like is the green background on the right and bottom.

For the rest it is looking good

hehehe its only on the lappy screen so far, on monday ill head in and process it on the dell monitor green? i dunno i can t see green in it sall good thankyou for the comments.

There is a slight green tinge on the right and bottom as Mill said but overall a very pleasing view.

Nice star field. Probably does need some work on a calibrated screen but still its very good.

A slight green caste on the right of the image but other than that this is a fine image. I like the nebulosity and it shows how much imaging has changed in this country in the last 7 years. Nice work Brendan.

Well im in at the uni and ive taken a look at the image on the dell monitor EEK. now i see the green on the RHS. *shakes head* shouldn't do the processing on the lappy screen!

So as to keep Sidonio tradition! the mighty PS CS3 Sidonio actions had to be initiated!

Hope the image has changed for the better!
