Name Your Poison
I've been experimenting lately with the effects of different types of alcohol
Purely in a scientific manner.
Trying to decide which will be my xmas spirit.
So what's your poison?

No Gin ther Nettie? It's hot outside! G&T on ice on a hot day - nothing better...
At night... only Drambuie on ice.

I've only ever had Gin once before.
I'll need someone to give me a proper introduction. LOL
Reminds me of Restaurant at the End of the Universe , every planet with intelligent life has developed a drink called Gin and Tonic.

No Eggnog in the list? Ok , I will settle for Vodka then. It mixes with pretty much anything.

isn't the wild turkey liqueur divine.
Almost, but not quite, exactly like Drambui.
Love it.

I used to get bulk discounts from Stolychnia. They were thinking of running a pipeline at one point.
Imbibe responsibly!

1. Jameson's Irish Whiskey (can't beat that extra distillation stage)
2. Ballantine's Scotch (nicest of the cheaper blended scotches)
3. Chivas Regal. Cheers and bottoms up!

To each their own Stephen.
It is a poison, and judging by my head this morning, one to be taken in moderation.

On hot days, nothing like beer during the day (esp with pizza. Nothing better with pizza then beer) and scotch on ice during the evenings. On temperate days and nights, red wine with my lover talking to the wee hours on just about everything. We've solved alot of the world's problems that way.
I have always been curious about the question I'm about to ask. Jeanette, I hope you don't mind me asking it. The first time I over indulged (in my late teens) was on brandy. Since then I have never been able to face the stuff and if I get close, it smells like throw up to me (sorry about the graphics). Have others had a similar experiance with their first overindulged alcohol.
