Strange Christmas Presents

What is the strangest present that you received or bought for yourself?

This year I am treating myself to 60m of percolating cloth firefighting hose for house and farm protection. At $550 it's not a cheap present but an essential.

Cheers

Not the blue rubber? I found it hardier and more flexible, if not much cheaper.

So far the weirdest present I've recieved was an electric rat-trap. Nice.
Dontcha just luv the smell of electrified rat?

Ric, I don't find that strange at all mate, hopefully you will not need it, but if the chance arises, you are well covered.

Hi Peter, this hose is the same as used by us with the RFS, very tough stuff.

Hi Leon, I always reckon the best hose is the one that you don't have to use but it's good piece of mind knowing it's there in the garage ready to go.

Cheers

The oddest present was the "as seen on tv" Ronco "Cocoa Motion" hot choclate making machine....

Really an odd thing, 16 years and still in the original box...I won't even go into some of the really odd wedding gifts we got...

Amen to that! Our fire plan is to turn on the water and run away bravely.
Have a non-combusted Christmas!

a fishing hat and a pair of thongs.
real romantic eh. I don't fish. But I do walk, so the thongs came in handy.
