I don't understand how it works..do you push the camera up against the reticle?? i'm sure i am a dummy and the answer is slapping me

I think that it only works with Tak polar scopes such as those that come with a P2-Z, EM10/500 or NJP. There's a good explanation here on CN: http://www.cloudynights.com/item.php?item_id=613

Thanks Doug - only problem is that it isn't clear on the Sigma Octans positioning.

Ahh i see - there is an explanation here http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthrea...7/Main/3503665 showing the maker thread..its for having the correct time/date as per tak polar scopes..it does not align for you
