10" GSO ASDX Super Deluxe dob for sale - Sydney

Hi

I'm selling my 10" dob (GSO GS-880) because I'm in the wrong season in life to own one of these. Observational astronomy needs a lot of patience and my life is just too busy right now.

I got too excited buying the dob and at the same time I just got really busy. Ideally I would study what I'm doing and even take it to darker spots.

I only recently bought this from Andrews Comm and it's the new 2009 ASDX Super Deluxe version: http://www.andrewscom.com.au/site-section-10.htm

Comes with all the accessories listed there (incl. fan), plus a GSO Barlow which I included in purchase. Also still have the original box. The base is actually all black, not white as in the pics.

Everything is in pretty mint condition as I only used it twice (in my own backyard, never taken it on journeys) and I have taken good care of it, sitting idle at home, with a shower cap to cover the bottom mirrors.

I live in near Penrith so the buyer should be in proximity - unless you want to pay for courier. I have a Mazda3 and the tube fits nicely in the backseat, and the base in the boot or front passenger seat.

As for price, make an offer, but please be reasonable considering that it's practically as new.

Final price $699. Anyone interested? That's $200 less than RRP and it's still as NEW! Inspection welcome before buy.

Puzzles me why no one wants to buy such a bargain.
