Cool Still playing with cars

Hi all,

I sold my little red car two weeks ago, and picked up a little yellow replacement on Thursday.
Now all I need is a Tom Sellick moustache and some floal print shirts.

Greg.

Sorry David,

It's not one of my images, it's the Roadster Coupe, folding hard top, leather, six speed, LSD, Bose audio etc etc. I am away for a few days and will post some pics when i next drive it (it's the second car).

Greg.
When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

Hi all,
Just a quick update re; the car, I have now driven her more than twice (yes it's a girl (Elisa), far to much style and grace to be a boy), and she is so light on her feet. Everytime that I drive it I am reminded of French lingerie, It hugs every curve, the beaut thing about it is that Mazda have built a newer car but resisted refining it beyond the original design concept "Jinba Iittai" , Horse and Rider as One. Switchable DSC is a good thing when one drives with some spirit, leather is wonderful, the extra kw's are there, and you know it, refined suspension over the series one is a marvel as is the NVH reduction, the Bridgestone Potenza's are a little noisy in comparison to the LS 2000's
that I had on my '99 model but at the grip is great wet and dry. Bose have done the job with the audio and the ipod aux jack is worth it's weight, the boast of extra boot space would be correct if you were carting water but hey it is a sports car after all. Now if I can just post some images.

After some more long distance computer leaning I think that I have cracked the Image posting thing and it has made me realise that I am of that demographic that will be left behind by "The Computer Age" and worse still those blokes that I work with who do not have PC's in their homes at all, will be even further away than me, they are 60 year old "Blue Collar Workers" whose children have left home and possibly taken the PC's with them and in doing so have left a segment of a generation on a Rock, Learn, I hear you say, but the reality is that these people still expect to be able to "Look it up in the Yellow Pages", have itemised 'phone accounts, power bills, Bank statements, Christ ABC Radio in their advertising suggest that we should "Check the net for programing information" I think that a high point in regard to this matter was during the fire crisis earlier in the year, when it was suggested that we monitor the situation on the net, at my home in Wandin North the first service that we lost was power, at my weekender in Maldon (Central Victoria ) not a shanty, but a 10 yo. 4 B/room home we do not have internet access at all and the television and radio service is flakey to say the least. We do not have a Digital television service (not that I miss it) I could go on, I just cannot help but feel that we are continuing to do that which we have always done and focussed on the short term.

Rant over. My apologies.

Greg.

Jen,

As soon as I am able I will post a pic, floral shirt et all. I actually have a shirt that has a base colour that is not a long way from the colour from my car.

If you are ever up on the Sunshine Coast Jen let me know and I will be happy to take you cruising the coastal roads in it, depending on your constitution I am happy to take you for a sprint on some good mountain roads around here and show you what a Corvette can really do, most people I have done that with usually dont enjoy it much as you are sitting on the wrong side of the car and feel like your going to die. LOL. But hey, a boulevade cruise through Maroochydore and Mooloolaba is always nice.

Cheers, Dennis.
