GSO diagonals - opinions?

Hi,

I see that Andrews is selling the 2" dielectric (non-quartz) model for only $99. Anyone have an an opinion as to how it compares to, say, a William optics model with the same specs? I have the WO carbon fibre model and am happy with it but want a second diagonal for my other refractor.

Cheers

Morton

Have the top line GSO 2" diagonal QUARTZ, dielectric, 99% reflectivity, 1/15 wave and have found it excellent value at 129AUD. Better than the WO I had.

I have the same one and I'm very happy with it.

Ditto. Same innards as the WO I'm told. True or not, I can't tell the difference, not only between it and the WO, but between it and my MUCH more expensive TV Everbright. Can't go wrong with it.

So have I. Came with a scope I bought. Cannot compare but it works just fine for me for visual. Never had quartz before - quite strange to look at - all milky like?
