homemade electric focuser

I've just finished making an electric focuser for my 8" newtonian.
It was relatively simple to make and seems to work quite well.
I'm yet to make a cover for it and make a proper electric connection but here are couple of pics before it gets covered..

parts:
12v DC reversible gearhead motor 36RPM
90 teeth spur gear
14 teeth pinion
GS crayford focuser

i've used DSLRfocus and Starmate to test it in my room, sent 5000 steps and it moved 3mm(drawtube) and the smallest step the motor responded to was 50.. which makes it capable of 0.03mm steps??

can't wait to test it out on the weekend!!

Looks Good! Are the bit's made for the purpose or did you cannibalise from an old printer or similar?
