GSO Laser Collimator - How to Improve Performance

Having recently acquired a GSO collimator. I found that, not only was the laser dot more like a sausage, but the unit was also difficult to collimate using the 3 adjusting grub screws. The process to dismantle and make the necessary mods to enhance performance is simple and straightforward.

Now my $58 collimator works as good a unit costing 3 times as much.

I have produced and attached a mod sheet for anyone who owns a GSO(or maybe thinking of buying one) and might want to do the same.

Enjoy!
