This camera has served me very well in the short time that I've had it, However I've decided to go the narrowband route, and would prefer a mono sensor to do that with, so the Orion is now for sale...
I've posted a few pics taken with this camera.. It does very well in Ha imaging considering that it is a colour sensor...
Just for those who are not aware..
6.2MP APS-C size sensor.
3040x2016 resolution with 7.8 micron pixels.
TEC cooling reaches 30 degrees below ambient temp, at this temperature, dark current is very low. Bias frames will generally remove all noise from an image, Darks have only really been needed on very warm nights or when imaging very dim targets when you have to stretch the data right out..
