Purchased mid 2007. Installed once, and not touched thereafter, apart from recent removal back into there boxes.

Did you find much use for the U and the B filters considering sky extinction. What camera were you using them with for sensitivity in the U and B range? I would be thinking of using an ST7.

They were used on a ST10XME, NABG, like the ST7.

They were installed for science users whilst the rig was with GRAS. I didnt use them myself, I know very little about the their application.

UBVRI filters

Fred,

I undertake photometry on a regular basis and may be interested in buying your filters but would like the answer to a few questions:

1. Are these the Bessell prescription as published in his PASP paper (circa 1990) for PMT photometry or are they the later prescription for CCD photometry?

2. Are they mounted in standard 32 mm (1-1/4") threaded rings?

3. Why are you selling them?

Terry
