First photo throught the new scope

My sister took this photo of the moon with her mobile phone. Taken through a 10" Skywatcher Dob, 25mm eyepiece i think, and thats it. She got it in the first shot. Took me several goes of holding the phone up to the eyepiece to even come close.

Still had fun doing it. Clearly need some better equipment

Not bad for a mobile phone. I try and do the same with my digital camera instead.

Hi Ben,

Well, thats the first step, keep trying and work at getting better. I reckon, ounce you catch the astro imaging bug, there will be no turning back.

Cheers
Trevor
