Trevor mate, we can't be involved in all these hobbies at the same time, I would have to sell my Tak and other stuff to afford this stuff.

So this is what my wife meant when I overheard her telling the kids ... "Boys will be boys, but girls will be women !"

But hey they are good aren't they . I can tell I'm going to order one very soon cos I keep going back to that site. Thanks Trevor

PS - What did you order Marki? - if you don't mind telling.

Paul I bought one of the bohm twin stirling engines (H26). I have been fascinated by these for more than a year. I just want to see what they make them out of and why they go like stink (2000 - 2500RPM on alcohol). Will make a great desk display as well . I think Trevor bought one of the singles.

Stephen watch the steam it burns. I have a small steam engine and the number of times I have had my hands a little too close when it decides to start..... AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHH thats bloody hot.

OK, you got me...my photo's still show the stock exhaust. New Hyper-flow cats and a Larini Sports muffler makes it sound a bit more like Pavarotti ....

Ok they arrived all packed nicely as expected from a German engineered and made product.

Put together in about an hour worked first time goes like the clappers.

Looks good Trevor but sounds like you may want to put a drop of oil on the crank journal supporting the rods for the displacer and piston. Speeds them up and quiets them down .

PS: I spent about four hours putting the twin together because I kept dropping those bloody little pins . I might get the flame eater to go with the one I have. Love toys they are just the best.
