iisac orion

I took this shot on friday night at lostock using a ed80 from york optical, this was first light for this little scope and iam very pleased by its performance,15x4min subs
with the 20d darks &flats ,processed in p/s and pixilinsight

Top shot Al. The Running Man looks awesome as does all that outer nebulosity on M42.

Nice job Al...then you blew a fuse

I will refrain from doing a Sidonio on your image in case Dave and Doug decide to lynch me for doing it to theirs...all three of you would be hard to handle

Nice one. Looks like you need a flattener now to correct the coma in the corners.

There are a few around. Televue .8X reducer/flattener, William Optics and I believe APM sells generic flatteners for different sized scopes.

That tis a nice shot Alan - congrats. It looks like m42 is definitely on my hit list this summer - I'm really impressed with how everyone is imaging m42.
