Premo secondary upgrade - Better = YES

Early this year I bought a cracking 10" (.992 stehl certified) for a project and also scored an antares 1/20 wave secondary. It seems the tube rings, cell, spider etc will have to wait for the budget to balance and for this scope gets under way.

Anyway thought i'd throw the secondary into the 8" newt i use for interim and WOW what a significant improvement on Jupiter! Short of replacing the GSO mirror, i'd thought with it flocked, partly baffled and always spot on collimation that it was close to it's peak. well think again.

Bottom line, get a quality secondary for newt 8" and over now, if you haven't already done so.
