I received that alert too, but looks like it's going to be cloudy tonight.

Pouring rain right now!

Calsky certainly does have email alerts.

I get email alerts for ISS crossing the Sun/Moon, as well as favourable ISS passes, etc.

I didn't get one for the 26th though, so I must be off the ground track...

Al.

Yes - you can subscribe to the email alerts and it will send you a notification if there's a crossing coming up.

That's interesting...heavens-above showed the ISS just missing the moon by a whisker viewing from my place.

The "footprint" of the transit was really quite narrow; I worked Heavens-Above for a while and figured it was less than two km wide as well as I could judge. Parramatta Park's eastern edge seemed to be the best place for the transit; unfortunately the rain halted play.

My wife got tired of me endlessly squinting at the clouds, looking for a patch of blue.

Tony Barry

By chance I went outside to look at Jupiter and the moon together when the IIS went by. Went right overhead, one of the best views I have had.

Michael.

I also observed ISS on Monday night but from inner suburb's of Melbourne @ about 8.20pm roughly. It passed the moon about 7 degrees to its south BUT nearly passed straight over Jupiter. It was about mag -3.
