SkyMapper/Sun Silhouette

Due to my location I have had a project of imaging the AAT infront of the setting sun. I get 2 attempts per year. No cigar for 3 years due to a variety of reasons. Tonight was close.
This image is of the Skymapper dome silhouetted against the sunset.
Image through the 4" f9 Unmoded 300D, white-light solar filter, Frame crop.
The AAT should be done tomorrow or next.

Bet I know when it will rain in Coona.

Hi Jeff

Congratulations on getting the shot! My fingers are crossed for your attempt with the AAT – good luck!

Cheers

Not tonight.
Flat on the left side of the solar image is the AAT.
