Exclamation Hitting 500,000 Big Ones !!!

Just been reading the stats………….

Threads: 49,439, Posts: 499,325, Members: 6,671

I wonder who is gonna hit the half-million posts in the next few days?

What should be the prize for reaching this significant milestone (kilometreage?)

(Interesting the stats average about 10 Posts per Thread!)

I'm not sure which figure to believe, this has happened before.....
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=50830

This post of mine is #507561
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...t.php?p=507561

Maybe the numbers do not match due to moderated(deleted) posts.

I've just look at the number on "Astronomy Forums"

If there are 7561 deletes - that an awful lot - and 5% are probably mine!

True, works out to approx 1.5% of posts... seems a tad high
I think I can confirm that they are deletes though, I started a thread a while back and put two blank posts in for later expansion, but a moderator deleted them, kinda dampened my enthusiasm a bit. That and the fact I can't update/edit them after two weeks.
Post #478997 and 478998 can be brought up but then my deleted posts, #478999 and 479000, come up with 'invalid post' error messages.

This post makes #500,000.

I suspect you are correct regarding the numbering and reference to deleted posts, however.
